Florence stands as a pinnacle of Italian culture and art. Every corner, alleyway, and palace captivates and amazes visitors, sharing the stories of the artists, poets, and scientists who have made Florence a milestone in national history. Renowned worldwide for its Duomo, the Uffizi GalleryPalazzo Vecchio, and much more, Florence also hides a side often unseen by tourists: a tour of Florence’s historic and authentic artisan workshops, uncovering a world of craftsmanship and dedication.

The art of ceramics

The Bottega di Fiorenza is one of the most beautiful artisan workshops in Florence and is a shop offering handcrafted ceramics that preserve the tradition of Florentine potters and ceramists. The products are beautiful, high-quality, and entirely handmade. While you can buy items here, you can also take a ceramics workshop at Officina on Via Nardo di Cione, a school of art for ceramic decoration, modelling, wheel throwing, Raku, and Obvara techniques.
